Victorian, circa 1870. 8.1ins high, 10.6ins wide, 10.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica jardinière and stand which features a ribbon and blossom ground.





Colouration: turquoise, pink, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Jardiniere: Good. No restoration. Some wear to rim.









KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior; uneven glaze application to the interior.













Stand: Good. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground.







RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to interior (still visible to the underside).
