Majolica corn on the cob bread platter

Victorian, circa 1870. 2.4ins high, 13ins wide, 11ins depth. Majolica bread platter which features four corn cobs laid in a basket.

Colouration: ochre, green, brown, are predominant.

CONDITION: Generally good. Flaking to the leafy border.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze.

RESTORATION: Filled chip to under rim.

Retouched flakes to rim.
