Victorian, circa 1870. 8.6ins high, 11.7ins wide, 1.5ins depth.
Holdcroft Majolica platter which features fern fronds and white flowers with a branch effect molded foot rim.
Pink ground version. Colouration: green, pink, white, are predominant.

Condition
Good. No restoration.
Tiny chip to underside of one handle.
Wear and flaking to the high points of the molding and handles.
KILN EFFECTS: a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to one leaf;
small firing pit to one fern frond.
