Holdcroft Majolica fern & flower plate
Victorian, circa 1870. 8.3ins high, 8.3ins wide, 1.4ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica plate which features fern fronds and white flowers with a branch effect molded foot rim.
Possibly made by Holdcroft.
Pink ground version.
Colouration: green, pink, white, are predominant.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good.
Small chip to the foot rim.
Small flake to green leaf to the front.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: slight staining to craze lines.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim (very slightly visible to the front).
