Holdcroft Majolica fern and flower plate
Victorian, circa 1870. 8.3ins high, 8.3ins wide, 1.2ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica plate which features fern fronds and white flowers with a branch effect molded foot rim.
Pink ground version. Colouration: green, pink, white, are predominant.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
Small shallow chip to one leaf to rim.
Wear and flaking to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: two specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front.
