Victorian, circa 1870. 8.5ins high, 8.5ins wide, 1.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features a large maple leaf and ferns.



Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, ochre, are predominant.





Bears a pattern number, '2584 B'. Book reference not found.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Chip to the foot rim.





Some small flakes to the reverse.









Wear to the high points of the molding.







KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the reverse;



a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front and reverse;









slightly stained crazing.
