Wedgwood Majolica grape & strawberry leaf basket

Victorian, circa 1878. 4.4ins high, 12.2ins wide, 9.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica basket which features grapes, grape vines and strawberry leaves, with twig rim. Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, ochre, green, are predominant.





Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1878.

Slight wear to the handle.





KILN EFFECT: tiny glaze pops to the purple grapes.





RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to handle.
