Mini Majolica Palissy beetle vase

Victorian, circa 1890. 3.5ins high, 2.4ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Palissy Majolica vase which features two floral handles and two beetles.

Colouration: brown, ochre, blue, are predominant.

CONDITION: Generally good. Three flakes to base rim associated with stilt marks.

RESTORATION: Two beetle legs remodelled.

Filled chip to leg of the same beetle.

Retouched flake to leg and horn of the other beetle.
