Victorian, circa 1870. 2.2ins high, 1.8ins wide, 1.4ins depth. George Jones Majolica match holder which features a beetle crawling up one side.

Colouration: brown, turquoise, green, are predominant.

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior;

glaze run to the black glaze.

RESTORATION: Filled chip to bottom corner and rim.
