Victorian, circa 1870. 8.1ins high, 10.6ins wide, 10.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica jardinière and stand which features a ribbon and blossom ground.





Colouration: turquoise, pink, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Jardiniere: Good. No restoration. Wear to the rim and handles.















Staining from use.





KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.



Stand: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground.





RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairlines to rim and to centre (still visible from the underside).







Filled chip to under rim.
