Victorian, circa 1873. 3.7ins high, 8.1ins wide, 0.8ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features a lily pad and flowers.

Colouration: green, white, ochre, are predominant.

English diamond registration mark for the date 26/03/1873.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Flaking to larger lily.

Some wear to front.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the front and reverse;

flecks of stray green glaze to the larger lily;

a few small patches of staining to the front;

thin glaze application to the lily stalk.
