Minton Majolica Tower jug/pitcher
Victorian, circa 1868. 9.4ins high, 7.5ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features dancing medieval figures.
Colouration: green, ochre, purple, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '1231'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1868.

Condition
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Very slight wear to the exterior.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior;
glaze pops to the interior.
