Victorian, circa 1865. 6.1ins high, 11ins wide, 9.4ins depth. Minton Majolica chestnut server which features chestnuts and chestnut leaves.
Colouration: turquoise, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '694'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1865.

Condition
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Slight wear to interior.
Staining from use.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln grit caught in the glaze to one chestnut shell to top and one large leaf;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior.
