Set of 3 Wedgwood Majolica wheat,bulrush & grape pitchers
Set of three Wedgwood Majolica jug/pitchers which feature wheat sheafs, bulrushes/cattails and grapes on the vine.
Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '30'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Condition
Large: Generally good. Some small flakes to rim and handle.
Slight wear to the handle.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to rim running 3/4 of the way down the side.
Filled chips to spout.
Retouched flakes to flowers.
Medium: Generally good. Wear to the high points of the molding.
RESTORATION: Filled chips to rim.
Retouched flake to foot rim.
Small: Generally good: Small flake to the rim.
KILN EFFECTS: bruise to the foot rim;
shrinkage line to the interior.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to the rim.
Retouched flakes to the handle and flowers.
