Minton Majolica daisy charger

Victorian, circa 1851. 16.5ins high, 16.5ins wide, 2ins depth. Minton Majolica charger which features a large central daisy and smaller daisies on a pink ribbon to the border.



Colouration: brown, green, white, are predominant.



Bears a pattern number, '17'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1851.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Wear to the high points of the molding.











KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the pink ribbon.









RESTORATION: Two filled chips to rim.





Retouched flakes to the central daisy.
