Wedgwood Majolica grape vine pitcher
Early to mid 20thC, circa 1935. 6.7ins high, 5.3ins wide, 4.5ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica jug/pitcher which features grape and vine leaf pattern to the sides.
Colouration: green, brown, lilac, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1935.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Very slight wear to the handle.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run and accumulation to the green glaze on the lower base edge;
staining to the interior of the rim;
tiny glaze pops to the exterior;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION: Retouched flake to exterior.
