French Majolica seated monkey figure

Victorian, circa 1900. 5.9ins high, 5.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Unidentified French Majolica figural which features a seated monkey eating fruit.

Colouration: green, yellow, grey, are predominant.

Good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the monkey's face;

a few glaze misses to the monkey's body and lower base edge;

flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground and fruit.
