Victorian, circa 1890. 3.9ins high, 9.4ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Eichwald Majolica trinket box which features a tortoise.

Colouration: green, brown, grey, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Eichwald pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2204'.

Base: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
