Victorian, circa 1869. 5.1ins high, 9.4ins wide, 7.5ins depth. Minton Majolica nut dish which features a squirrel holding a nut. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1522'. English diamond registration mark for the date 20/07/1869.

and squirrel's left ear.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim (visible from the underside).
