Small Oval French Majolica Palissy fish platter

Victorian, circa 1890. 4.7ins high, 7.9ins wide, 1.2ins depth. French Palissy Majolica Wall plaque which features a central fish surrounded by leaves and insects. Colouration: blue, green, ochre, are predominant.

Flake to fish's gill.



RESTORATION: Reglued rim section (area just in front of fish's mouth).





Retouched flakes to two of the leaves.
