Lonitz Majolica Partridge & chicks candlestick

Victorian, circa 1880. 12.6ins high, 7.7ins wide, 6.1ins depth. Lonitz Majolica candlestick holder which features a partridge and two chicks in front of an oak tree. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.









Bears a pattern number, '1205'.

CONDITION: Fair. Some small flakes to oak leaves and to lower fern leaf tips.











RESTORATION: non-original sconce glued to the top and join retouched;





remodelled parts to fern leaves and partridge's wing tip;









filled chips to all three beaks and top of sconce.
