Minton Majolica Rabbit dish
Victorian, circa 1869. 3ins high, 9.1ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Minton Majolica dish which features a rabbit eating a cabbage leaf.
Colouration: green, white, black, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '1531'. English diamond registration mark for the date 22/10/1869.

CONDITION: Good.
Some small flakes to the rim.
Stained crazing to the underside.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the rabbit in places.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
