Large majolica two handled fish platter
Victorian, circa 1870. 10ins high, 23ins wide, 2ins depth. Majolica platter which features a large fish on a bed of coral, with two shell handles.
Colouration: turquoise, brown, grey, are predominant.

Condition
Good. No restoration.
Some small flakes to rim and handle.
Slight staining and scratches from use.
Wear to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior;
glaze run to the brown glaze.
