Wedgwood Majolica plaice fish platter
Victorian, circa 1875. 9.1ins high, 11.8ins wide, 1.6ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica platter which features a plaice, around a central well. Colouration: turquoise, grey, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1659'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875.

Slight wear around the inner rim.
Slight staining from use.
RESTORATION: filled chip to fish's mouth.
