Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica plate which features olives. Colouration: brown and green are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.

CONDITION: Generally good. Two small chips to foot rim.

Some small flakes to the under rim.

Slight wear to olives.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown glaze.

RESTORATION: Old restoration; one olive remodelled and small section of rim reglued.
