Victorian, circa 1870. 3.7ins high, 4.9ins wide, 2.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica creamer which features a handle in the form of a monkey. Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: green, brown, white, are predominant.
English diamond registration mark for the date ??/03/1875.

Slight wear to the underside.
KILN EFFECTS: two specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze one to the monkey
the other to the exterior.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim.
Filled and retouched chips and flakes to rim
and monkey's hand.
