Victorian, circa 1890. 5.7ins high, 4.3ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Elias Portuguese Palissy Majolica toothpick holder which features a turkey.
Colouration: brown, green, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Elias pottery.

CONDITION: Good. Small flake to base edge.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown glaze;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base and to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Filled chip to left wing.
Retouched flake to turkey's wattle, crest and tail feathers.
