Victorian, circa 1870. 7.3ins high, 11ins wide, 7.5ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica jardinière which features a jardinière with two fish handles. Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.
