Worcester Majolica bamboo cheese dome & stand

Victorian, circa 1885. 10.2ins high, 11.4ins wide, 11.4ins depth. Royal Worcester Majolica cheese keep which features bamboo decoration and handle.

Colouration: turquoise, ochre, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Royal Worcester pottery.

Cover: Generally good. Scratches from use to the exterior.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the interior on rim edge;

kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the handle.

RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to side of dome, running onto the top.

Two filled chips to rim.

Base: Good. No restoration.
