Victorian, date cipher for 1867. 9ins diameter. Wedgwood Majolica octagonal pictorial plate.

Circular green center depicting two cherubs frolicking with masks and cloaks.

Fluted ochre band around the green center. Cobalt surround with a border of trailing oak leaves.

Brown rim with green ties where the leaves hang down onto the plate.



Mottled green, brown and ochre reverse with three stilt marks.



Impressed maker's marks 'WEDGWOOD' three letter date cipher 'COV' for 1867 inside the foot.

Condition

Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No flakes.

Slight wear to front and reverse.









Restored chip to rim corner.
