Circa 1910. 5.5ins high, 12ins wide. WMF Art Nouveau style flower dish. Pierced frame with butterflies and fruiting vines on both sides. Two handles in the form of entwined stems with a flower at the top. Four stylised feet around the base.
Impressed maker's marks under one foot 'WMF', 'EP' (electroplated), 'I/O' (normal thickness of plating/gilding), and 'OX' (oxidised).
Condition
CONDITION: Good. The join on one handle has come away from the rim on both sides, but the handle still is still rigid.
The flower has come away from the handle in one place, but is rigid.
