WMF flower dish with glass liner

Circa 1910. 14.5ins wide. WMF flower dish with glass liner. The dish is decorated with stylised roses. Two ornate handles and four feet. The glass liner has a shaped rim. This flower dish is part No. 245. Flower Set.







The piece has had text inscribed on one side 'PÅ 36- ÅRSDAGEN 19 21/2 26' 'FrÅn Astrid' Which translates to 'ON 36 Anniversary 21st of February 1926' ' From Astrid'.





Impressed maker's mark 'WMF' ostrich mark 'B', 'OX' and 'I/O' all to the back of one foot.

Condition

Needs to be cleaned. Good. No restoration.

Tiny nicks to the rim of the glass liner.



Some wear to and tarnishing to dish.









Light scratches from use to handles, dish and liner.
