WMF Silver Plated Oval Flower Dish and Glass Liner
Circa 1910. 16ins by 7ins, 11ins high. WMF silver plated oval flower dish with a scantily clad maiden, probably the hunting goddess Diana, seated on one end.
She has a bow in one hand and is reaching for an arrow from her quiver.
Complete with glass liner.
Maker's marks impressed 'WMFB', 'I/O', '51' and 'ag' to underside.
Illustrated on page 96, 'Art Nouveau Domestic Design from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik' published by the 'Antique Collectors Club'.
Condition
Generally good. No restoration. Dish: string missing to bow.
