WMF Art Nouveau Champagne Cooler Circa 1910. 10.5ins high. WMF silver plated wine/Champagne cooler with a scantily clad maiden forming a handle to one side, lily pad leaf and stem forming the handle to the other side.







Engraving to front reads 'Pa silfverbrollopsdagen fran Tilda och Yvar'.



Maker's marks impressed 'WMFB', 'I/O' and 'as' to underside.





Illustrated on page 154, 'Art Nouveau Domestic Design from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik' published by the 'Antique Collectors Club'.

Condition

Good. Some wear and tarnishing to the interior.



A couple of light scratches to the exterior.





A worn patch just below the inscription.



RESTORATION. Remodelled section to flower stem.



Flower re-attached.
