WMF oval mirror

Circa 1910. 16.5ins high.



WMF oval shaped toilet easel mirror. Frame has a maiden on the right hand side, playing the pipes.



The frame holds the original mirror and has the original wooden backing.



An arm is attached to the wooden backing to form a support.



Maker's marks impressed to the back of one foot - 'WMF' ostrich mark and 'I/O' (normal thickness of plating/gilding), 'OX' (oxidized) , and 'B' - Brittania metal, a tina and antimony alloy.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Dent to 'swag' decoration at top.



Some wear to stand, mirror and wooden backing. Some rubbing to plating.
