WMF claret jug with stopper

Circa 1910. 15ins high.



WMF glass claret jug with hand painted crystal glass, silver plated mount, handle and stopper. Old silver finish.









Impressed maker's marks 'as', 'I/0', 'B', and WMF ostrich logo to the bottom of the handle, and 'I/0' to the bottom of the stopper.





Illustrated on page 136, catalogue number 1906, 'Art Nouveau Domestic Design from /89*Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik' published by the 'Antique Collectors Club'.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Stopper: wear to where stopper sits inside jug neck.



Flaked around neck of stopper.



Jug: flaked to mount and handle.





Some residue to interior and wear to underside of base.
