pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 5.3ins high, 5.7ins wide, 4.1ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware jug/pitcher with a military theme which features 'Lord Wellington' and 'General Hill' to either side. Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

two touch marks to the handle.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairlines to the rim, two still visible to exterior.
Filled chips to Wellington's nose and chin.
