Staffordshire sheep figure Victorian, circa 1860. 1.8ins high, 2.6ins wide, 1.8ins depth.





Staffordshire porcellaneous figure which features a sheep, recumbent on a shaped base. White and gilt version. Bright gilt base line. Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Slight rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the sheep's head, body and to base;









over glazed dent to the edge of the base at the front.
