Staffordshire spaniel with pup on cushion
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.3ins high, 4.7ins wide, 3ins depth.
Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel and pup, seated on a tasselled cushion base. Russet and white version.
Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Fair. Slight wear to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to base and across pup's hind leg and tail.
Section of base reglued and join retouched.
Retouching to eyes and muzzle.
