Salt Staffordshire Pearlware Lady archer figure
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.5ins high, 3.3ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Salt Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure which features a female archer, stood on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.

Condition
Generally good.
Tight hairline to base edge at reverse.
Some small flakes to bocage.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed chips to her bow;
notable crazing to her face and neck;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to her shoulder,
right hand and quiver.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to the front of her hat.
Filled chips to three bocage leaf tips.
