Staffordshire tiger figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.1ins high, 5.6ins wide, 2.5ins depth.
Staffordshire figure which features a tiger, stood on a shaped base. Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Chip with associated bruise to underside and side of base.
Tiny chip to shredded clay.
Small abrasion to his nose.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.
RESTORATION: Retouched craze line to tiger's back.
Remodelled left front leg.
Retouched paint losses to the black enamel.
