Staffordshire sheep spill vase

Victorian, circa 1860. 3.5ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase with a pastoral theme which features a ram and ewe, recumbent on a shaped hollow base.



Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.

CONDITION: Good.

Small chip to leaf on spill.



Slight rubbing to gilt.





KILN EFFECT: staining to the reverse;





over glazed chip to leaf on base.


RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to left spill.
