pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 5.1ins high, 3.7ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure with a pastoral theme which features a ram and a lamb, stood on a shaped base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

CONDITION: Generally good.
Some small flakes to bocage.
Wear to lamb's nose.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray green glaze to the ram's back.
RESTORATION. Both front ankles reglued and joins retouched.
Retouched flakes and filled chip to bocage, but still 90% original pottery.
