Pearlware Staffordshire piper figure
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 5.9ins high, 4.7ins wide, 2.8ins depth.
Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure with a musical theme which features a man playing a bagpipe, his dog beside him, seated on a shaped base.
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Small chips and flakes to bocage.


Some wear to gentleman's face, bagpipe, hands, trousers and dog's face.




RESTORATION. Filled chips to flowers.


Retoucing to hat and bocage. Bocage is 90% original pottery.
