Staffordshire Pearlware Hope figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 8.7ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth.

Staffordshire pearlware figure which features Hope, stood on a square hollow base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Some tiny flakes to underside.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack around her right hand and elbow and left shoulder.

Retouched brown border lines, and flake to left sandal.

Ends missing and retouched to front and back of anchor.
