Pr Staffordshire Boy & Dog with Girl & Goat
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 5.3ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth.
Pair of Parr Factory Staffordshire figures which feature a girl with a goat and a boy with a dog, seated on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version.
Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Female: Good. Some small flakes to base edge.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines around her waist;
slight staining to the base;
flecks of stray coloured glaze;
small touch mark to the top of her hat.
RESTORATION. Goat's right ear remodelled.
Male: Good. Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: slight staining to the base and boy's left leg;
fleck of stray coloured glaze to the boy's right knee and left leg.
RESTORATION. Dog's head reglued and join retouched.
Retouching to boy's hair, shoes and dog's markings.
