Staffordshire greyhound & hare figure on blue base
Victorian, circa 1860. 10.2ins high, 7.9ins wide, 3.9ins depth.
Staffordshire figure which features a whippet with game, stood on a cobalt blue base. Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version.
Dull gilt base line. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition
CONDITION: Fair. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the dog's right hind leg, neck and reverse;
faint, over glazed shrinkage lines to the reverse behind right front leg;
touch mark to left side of face.
RESTORATION. Remodelled left front foot.
Nose reglued and join retouched.
Restoration to both ears.
