Staffordshire hen & chicks tureen

Victorian, circa 1860. 5.9ins high, 6.3ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Staffordshire tureen with cover with a pastoral theme which features a hen with her seven chicks. One of the chicks is perched on her back, the others peep out from underneath. Multi-coloured version.







Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
