pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.7ins high, 3.3ins wide, 3.3ins depth.

Staffordshire pearlware figure which features a cobbler mending a shoe, seated on a square base. Multi-coloured version.



Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.



Vent hole to the underside. Maker's marks 'B', impressed to underside.



Book reference not found.

Condition

Generally good. No restoration.

Two tight hairlines to underside.





Some flakes to box, sleeves and left hand.
