pre-Victorian, circa 1830. 5.3ins high, 7.1ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware cow creamer which features a cow, stood on a rectangular base. Pink lustre version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Hole with cover to cow's back. Mouth forms a pouring hole.

Slight wear to cow's back.
KILN EFFECTS: firing hole to underside of cow;
piece of kiln detritus caught inside the cow's mouth;
lid does not sit perfectly on the creamer.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to right horn.
